A view of the Camera

I love seeing the dome of the Radcliffe Camera when walking through the Deer Park and Old Quad of Brasenose College, but this is the first time it's seemed like a face peering over the wall -- am I the only one who thinks this face vaguely resembles the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man?

Yesterday was rather cold and wet, but today the sun is shining. I'm looking forward to dinner at The Trout with the Oklahoma alums who currently are enjoying the Oxford Experience, but first I really need to get serious about the work I brought with me . . .

Or maybe I'll take a walk with Steve. It's just too gorgeous outside!

  1. Now that you mention it, it does resemble a face, but I'm thinking more Teletubby than Stay Puft Man. We'd better be careful...we're beginning to resemble a certain member of our writing group who shall remain nameless but tends to "see faces" in some very strange situations! :-)

    1. I'll have to confirm the teletubby resemblance. I can barely recall what they looked like. (Are they still on TV?)

  2. Oh my gosh - I did a whole FBF post on how I see faces in (mostly) inanimate objects: car fronts, pansies, cookies, purses and clouds. Now I have to go back and amend to include buildings. They're EVERYWHERE - looking at me. (It's not paranoia if they're REALLY there . . . )

Oh - I just saw that Dee Dee tried to protect me. Thanks, Dee Dee - my crazy got away from me again!
